Clean Living- The Big Picture Approach that will Make you Succeed!
Cleaning living is an important part of your life. No matter how often you hear it, you need to keep your mind, body, and soul healthy….along with the environment around you. In order to successfully commit to clean living, you need to have a big picture approach. This is done through The Five F Approach (also known as- 5 Reasons you will NOT Fail!). Keep reading to find out more.
The Five F’s are:
• Faith
• Family & Friends
• Field & Finances
• Fitness
• Fun
In order to achieve perfect clean living, you will need to keep all five F’s in mind. Let’s take a look in detail at each one.
Faith
Faith is important to anything that you do. There are two types of faith that matter when trying to participate in clean living. The first type of faith is faith that you can and will succeed. Everyone needs to hold faith in themselves and their will power. Without that faith in one’s self, it becomes extremely hard to accomplish anything.
Imagine having a little voice in the back of your head that is say “You can’t do this!” Eventually, you are going to want to listen to that voice. Instead, tell that voice it is wrong and that you can and will succeed.
The other part of faith is believing in your faith. Having a personal relationship with God helps guide you along your journey to establish purpose and fulfillment. You are never alone, he IS there at all times. Faith also works as inspiration to help you when you are having a down and out moment or a moment where you are tempted. Temptation is human nature and relying on God for strength is key.
Here are a few verses and quotes to help guide you and lift you up:
Pslam 63:5- You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy.
Romans 12:2- Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
Proverbs 17:22- A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
1 Thessalonians 5:11- So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.
1 Corinthians 16:13- Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
Family and Friends
Another thing that you need to succeed is family and friends. This factor is important because with the help of those around you, you are no longer alone. You feel the help that you need in order to succeed. Being alone makes anything harder.
Perhaps you are without immediate family or there is too much distance there. Your family doesn’t have to be actually blood related, they just need to be those that are close to you. Those that you love.
It is important to let those around you that you consider family or friends know about your clean-eating goals to stay on track. When they know about them, they can help to get rid of that voice that tells you it is a good idea to stop or to cheat.
A family also resembles your initial movement into clean living. It will have its ups and downs, but no matter what happens you need to stick with it. Just like you need to stick with your family and friends.
When you really want to stay on track, try to get a friend to commit to clean living with you. The two of you (or more than two) can work on building up a positive lifestyle. When you undergo the task with family or friends who are doing the same, you have someone to turn to who knows what you are going through. You also have someone to share success and tips with. That alone can be exciting.
Field and Finances
You need to know right now that you don’t need to be a billionaire in order to be someone who is happy with their money. You only need to make the amount of money that you need to live and to live happily. At the same time, you don’t want to focus on money. A focus on money leads to stress, stress eating, and an unclean lifestyle.
Look for a field of work that you can enjoy. It is hard to leave for work every day knowing that you are going to a job that you don’t like. When you enjoy your work, money typically increases with experiences. Spend time thinking about what you enjoy, your strengths and claim that you will Make It Happen! You also want to be able to afford the food that helps with a clean lifestyle. It is possible to live a clean living on less money but it never hurts to be able to get the food you want.
There are several ways you can make money or earn extra income from home! Remember that in order to get what you want financially you might have to sacrifice other things. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It is just something to keep in mind. If you like electronics, you might need to have a smaller house or less shoes in order to afford them, for example.
Fitness
Any healthy lifestyle that you look to pursue will have something in common, fitness. In order to feel good and to be in physically good health. So much of our body relies on regular movement in order to be happy. What do we mean by fitness though?
Our body works by burning calories to get energy and also by burning fat. Part of clean living is to burn away anything bad that we put into our bodies. That means that we need to have regular physical activity in the form of fitness. That means running, gym visits, pushups, and more.
Fitness isn’t just about working out though. It is about living an active lifestyle. Sitting behind a computer for 8 hours at a time is terrible for the body. Some fitness experts say that it can be as bad as smoking or other negative impacts on the body. During your day you need to make an effort to get up and walk around. A good rule to live by is between five and ten minutes of walking every hour. Many fitness wearables such as Fitbit are able to remind you when it is time to get up and provide encouragement when you do.
On days that you don’t work, try to do activities such as hiking where you get out of the house and get some physical activity in. It doesn’t have to be stressful. Half the battle is getting out and moving. Doing a lot of chores will also get you moving, while being productive too!
Fun
Clean living might be difficult at times if you like those really bad for you snacks. That doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be fun. An important part of clean living is having fun. It might not happen right away but despite the fact that it might not be fun at first- keep your spirits positive.
A lot of people find that as soon as they start flushing some of the toxins and fats from bad food out of their system that they start to notice an elevated mood. Scientists have found that a lot of the negative things that we ingest actually effect our moods. They can cause sadness, depression, anxiety and more.
Some people find that if they gamify the experience that it is more enjoyable. That means creating objectives and rewards for said objectives. This has been found to help in a wide variety of things that people take on in life. That is because the brain is naturally wired to enjoy being rewarded, no matter what we are rewarded for or with. I saw results with my eating and living habits and was inspired to help others. BECAUSE… feeling bad is not fun.
