Wake up with a Protein Packed Smoothie!
I cannot wake up … I am not NOT a morning person. “ME NEED PROTEIN” ahhhhh then I am all better. And when I am Up I am Up For a LONG time… I usually eat breakfast after everyone else is out the door. We’ve all heard it- breakfast it important. I think that a Vitamix should be on every registry- the uses are literally endless. In my efforts for healing I was introduced to The Blender Lady. Wake Up Protein Smoothie
1 Cup of Coffee (I use Puroast-a low acid coffee)
1 Cup Homemade Almond Milk (less fillers- kitchen staple)
2 scoops of Tera’s Whey Protein (Grass Fed) *Note some that can’t tolerate casein can tolerate whey.
Drizzle of Raw & Local Honey
Sprinkling of Organic Cinnamon (anti inflammatory benefits)
5-6 ice cubes
Place all in blender (EXCEPT WHEY) and blend until smooth. Add Tera’s Whey last and mix on low speed until incorporated (minimize the foam).
