Easy Breakfast Turkey Sausage
Nearly every time I read a label I come across an ingredient that doesn’t fit with one or more people in my family. Food Sensitives can be frustrating UNTIL you find out how easy it is to make your own Turkey Sausage! You have compete control of what ingredients are in your homemade foods! Make this Easy Turkey Sausage ahead of time for a protein egg scramble or slice and place on the grill! You really don’t even need a recipe- it’s that easy. Let the inspiration begin!
Ingredients:
1 Pound Organic Ground Sausage- You can Mix 1/2 Dark 1/2 Light
You Pick your Seasonings:
Whole Cumin Seeds, Garlic, Sage, Thyme, Rosemary, Cayenne Pepper, Ginger, Paprika, Oregano, Celtic Salt, Pepper, Diced Fruit (Apple is surprisingly good) and Veggies like Onion, Leek and Sun-Dried Tomato!
My go-to spices are:
1/2 Teaspoon Whole Cumin Seeds
1/4 Teaspoon Paprika
1/4 Teaspoon Oregano
1/4 Teaspoon Celtic Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
OR… make it sweet and savory!
Add in 1 Chopped Apple & Serve with Cranberry Chutney!
Incorporate all spices and form into a “loaf” cut and cook on griddle or skillet or freeze until ready to prepare.
